Create a Writing Routine

Why limit resolutions to only the New Year?! Create a writing resolution/routine, even if it is temporary for example: 


Weekly Writathon: Write a two-page short-story each week.


Evening Write-out: It is a writing workout each evening where you write a journal entry of what has happened throughout the day.


30-Days of Poetry: This is a personal tradition I started last Ramadan. Ramadan 2018 officially begins today, which means I will be writing one poem, each day, for 30 days straight, and posting them up on my personal Insta-page.


Keep in mind that these are just examples of writing routines. You can write a chapter-a-day, one short-story per week, six-stanza poems each month, whatever time period, whatever genre of writing you are comfortable with!
